She is also a member of American Med Spa Association and American Chemical Society. She has been awarded by New Jersey Department of Labor-“Garden State Education & Training Achievement” recognition. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Delhi University, India. She also has a Master’s degree in Polymer Chemistry from Tuskegee University, Alabama, where she received US Army Research Office funding in developing non-hazardous polymeric and bio-medical composites. She is also certified in aesthetics by American Academy of Procedural Medicine (AAOPM). She has continuing education in Primary Care in Orthopedics and Sports injuries from Harvard Medical School, Boston and in dermatology modalities from American Academy of Dermatology (AAD). She graduated from MSN program at Drexel University, Philadelphia. Ritu is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner, and is licensed to practice in states of New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. He stresses a partnership between the patient, the patient’s family and the practitioner for a better overall outcome for the patient. Vincent believes in patient education for the detection, prevention and treatment of skin cancer and other skin disorders. Currently, Vincent takes pride in being a dermatology preceptor and educator for the Wagner College Physician Assistant Program in Staten Island, where he trains students in dermatologic medicine and diseases of the skin. He was also a lecturer at that program for several years and enjoyed introducing new physician assistants to dermatology. Over the years Vincent helped redesign the dermatology curriculum for the Sisters of Charity Medical Center Physician Assistant Program at Bayley Seton Hospital in Staten Island, NY. He joined the practice (now Certified Dermatology) in 2000, and is one of our longest-tenured providers. Vincent is a certified physician assistant who treats pediatric, adult and geriatric patients. This added skill set only further refines his ability to connect, educate and make all patients feel very comfortable, informed and adds a human element to his medical style. On another note, he is also a professional musician, which has enabled him to relate in a different but similar way to his patients, communities, and to musical venues on the east coast and elsewhere. He is well versed in performing laser treatments of many types and he is an expert in discerning the best treatment regimen for the medical and esthetic patient. She accepted a position as a nurse manager of the Heart Group of Oklahoma and then went on to manage the emergency services at Milford Memorial Hospital in Delaware while pursuing her master’s degree in nursing at Wilmington College in Georgetown, DE where she developed a special interest in dermatology. After seven years of service, Lisa left the armed forces as a captain in order to pursue civilian medicine. In 1991, she was awarded the Air Force Distinguished Service Medal. As an officer, she was part of a field medicine deployment team practicing trauma, emergency, and critical care nursing. After graduating from the University of Massachusetts in 1985, she was awarded a military commission and accepted a competitive internship with the US Air Force.
